Leasing Associate

Temp to Permanent position in 30-90 days. Benefit eligible 30‐days after permanent hire.

As a Leasing Associate for Creative Housing Inc., you will play a vital role in providing safe and affordable housing for persons with disabilities and delivering exceptional customer service. The Leasing Associate is responsible for leasing processes, promoting housing stability efforts, and supporting various operational functions.

You will also:

Perform leasing and occupancy tasks, including lease-up, renewals, rent changes, unit turn coordination
Manage and distribute keys
Maintain residential data across platforms
Maintain document retention initiatives while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of property, tenant and client records
Handle rubbish: receptacles, bulk pickup support, neighbor and tenant complaints
Handle coordinating utilities related to vacancies and move-in/out
Provide inquiry support for non-rent provider and tenant billing inquiries
Provide inquiry support for tenant statement inquiries
Provide administrative support for residential operations
Provide support and reporting for company performance measurements
Assist with special projects as assigned
Cross‐train to support departmental coverage during absences
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
3 years of experience in related field(s) required
Working knowledge of leasing functions in residential property management required
General computing skills and spreadsheet applications experience required
Proficiency in Yardi preferred
Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem‐solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Typing: Minimum 36WPM
Customer service‐oriented with attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with coworkers & vendors
