Our team is committed to effective project management and quality control to ensure the highest level of customer service and the safest accessibility upgrades for our clients.
We begin with a phone call or email to discuss your accessibility needs. These could include accessibility renovations, assistive technology, sensory items, elopement protective measures, or adaptive equipment. This is a complimentary consultation.

If needed, we will schedule an on-site visit to meet you, assess your home, and identify solutions. Together, we will identify immediate and potential future needs. This process may last as little as 15 minutes or require multiple meetings. We will devote the time necessary to reach a clear understanding of what you need.
We collaborate with you to decide the best plan of action. With your budget in mind, we will develop a comprehensive scope of work for the project. The scope of work may include renovations needed or specific assistive technology or equipment to be provided.
Based on the needs identified in the scope of work, our in-house design team will create and review with you our vision of your project. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
Creative Renovations will provide you with a proposal of the anticipated project costs for approval. If funding is being provided by a third party, we will submit to them for approval. Â With approval and any agreed upon down payment, the project will be queued up for necessary permitting and other preparatory steps to be able to begin.
Creative Renovations will develop project schedules, acquire materials and equipment, and oversee the project to meet expectations identified in the scope of work and proposal. This includes delivery and installation of adaptive or sensory equipment and assistive technology.
Creative Renovations will provide you with project closeout documents, including a general warranty, manufacturer’s literature relating to the project, and any other pertinent information. Creative Renovations provides a one-year warranty on every renovation or new build project.
Funding Your Project
Private Pay
Creative Renovations commonly works with individuals who can afford to private pay (out of pocket) for their project. Many families work with organizations and different banking institutions in the community to help them fund their accessible home remodel or construction project.

You may be able to choose from Huntington National Bank’s three loan options to support your home renovation. And if you prefer, we will connect you directly with our banking representative for optimal customer service. Â
Option 1: Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC)
If your project funding need is valued at a minimum of $10,000, are a homeowner and have income, this option allows you to use income/property as collateral and limit any interest payments to what you borrow, when you borrow it. The application process takes about 3 weeks to complete.
Option 2: Deposit Secured Personal Loan
If your project funding need is valued at a minimum of $3,000 and you do not have collateral, this option allows you to borrow up to the value of your deposit up to $50,000. This can be used for major expenses like a home renovation while maintaining your savings goals.
Option 3: Unsecured Line of Credit
If your project funding need is valued at a minimum of $10,000, this option allows you to borrow up to $100,000 without need for collateral, depending on qualifying factors including a minimum credit score of 760.
Option 4: Home Equity Loan (HELOAN)
If your project funding need is valued at a minimum of $10,000, are a homeowner and have income, this option allows you to use income/property as collateral and borrow a fixed amount at a fixed rate with a pre-determined payback period.
Funding Assistance
Although we do not have funds available to complete no-cost projects, Creative Renovations works with organizations and agencies in the community who help people secure funding for in-home accessibility renovations.
