As the Maintenance Services Associate for Creative Housing Inc., you will play a vital role in maintaining our company’s physical assets and delivering exceptional customer service. The Maintenance Services Associate is responsible for handling service requests and supporting various operational functions.

You will also:

  • Be responsible for responding to service requests & needs from varying sources including phone, email, custom applications or other communication channels.
  • Provide basic troubleshooting for service requests to promote immediate remedy and to prevent unnecessary dispatching field personnel.
  • Assign and schedule service requests, including emergency situations per priorities identified by quality control manager and company standards.
  • Monitor the progress of service requests, providing updates to residents, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to residents, addressing concerns, and offering solutions.
  • Generate reports on maintenance requests, call volume, and other relevant metrics, including callbacks & timeliness.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Asset/Facilities and Leasing teams as needed.
  • Support distributing, receiving and maintaining levels of inventory.
  • Complete basic functional area cross training to support departmental employees’ enjoyment of their time off.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2 years of experience in related field(s) required
  • MSOffice and smartphone proficiency required
  • Proficiency in Yardi preferred
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem‐solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Typing: Minimum 38WPM
  • Customer service‐oriented with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with coworkers & vendors
  • Franklin County Residency
