Respite Care Homes

Creative Housing maintains a network of four respite care homes that may be used by individuals who are served by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities. The homes provide a temporary place to stay for individuals who require short-term housing with support staff. Each home is fully accessible and located in a quiet residential setting. Occupants have their own bedroom. The properties have screened in porches and large back yards.

The Winchester Pike Emergency Care Facility is a 7,000 square building having two self contained apartments as well as a four-bedroom residential core area. It has living, dining areas, a screened in porch and fenced in back yard. The facility is fully accessible.

Winchester Pike Facility is designed to meets the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities who are in crisis. The facility is staffed 24 hours a day by Franklin County Residential Services with medical and behavioral/counseling professionals on staff.
